The race with fate
When all life hangs in the balance, we are suddenly confronted with a reality we can hardly think about. It all goes back to the climax of it all.
Whether it’s the birth of our children, the moment we hear tragic news or we start the race of our lives with only the finish line in sight and mind, it’s life-changing for that exact moment as we withdraw into ourselves, ready just to perform.

gate bracing,
turn the pulpit,
don’t be a moment late,
Forward dial.
Focused attention never wanes,
Sight is now saved for drive,
In the end, we will know our fate, which takes our breath away.
Attend the moment and you will not be denied.
enable tense abilities,
reserves were found in time,
Our state is barely shaggy,
Performance we do straight down the line.
beyond borders,
round fires,
time slows down on demand,
And he found adrenaline.
speed up that runway,
ears set back,
This is our day
Our estimated path.

This may be a race metaphor we’re contemplating here, but it’s as relevant to our daily lives as any image. We’re all in a race called “life” and although it’s not traversed as fast as the 100m sprint, there are a lot of similarities to performance that command our attention.
The decisive moment
Perhaps the best illustration of performance in The Race of Life is the moment we make our decisions; We are prepared to face whatever the consequences of our decisions may entail.
Our decisions alone will shape our immediate and even long-term destinies. And even if those decisions are simply to join the moments themselves as we move with those punches.
Performance at the clinch is as much about reaping the wisdom the moment demands as anything else; Most of the time it is about the inaction of faith as anything, a faith that remains cautious in its discretion – the nobility of conservatism.
